Deep amber eyes shifted as the sun began to set. the ebon loved the darkness though she didn't much like it when she was alone, but she was getting used to it. her mother was killed on their way to find a new home, so that left her alone for quite some time. noli hates the feeling of being alone, only because she knows she's at her weakest now; but most of her kind would feel that way. raising her nose up into the air she took a deep sniff and then let out a deep sigh. she stopped for a moment, taking a good look around as if lost and not knowing which way she should turn.

Turning her head to the right she stared in the woods, making sure nothing was following her. she was hearing things, noises of footsteps of some animals. laying down she rested her head flat on the dirt ground as watched as a doe passed with her fawn, how stupid could some animals get, of course the doe was looking for food and only using her ears. licking her muzzle she watched as the doe stopped to munch on a small patch of grass not far off towards her. the fawn moved to lay down, sensing that all was safe. noli was starving, hadn't eaten for days. she wanted that fawn badly and even if she just made one little noise her cover would be blown but with the fawn down she could make some sort of move.

amber eyes stared at the pair for a moment before she lunged forward and went after the fawn. the doe leaped forward, not even thinking about the safety of her baby. by the time the fawn had lifted it's feet up and moved forward a foot or two noli had taken it back down to the ground. the small animal screamed for its mother but noli knew the doe wouldn't return. chewing on it's hind leg as it screamed she twisted her head before letting it go and grabbing the fawn by the neck, dragging the still squirming fawn towards a hidden spot in a bush so she could kill it and have a good healthy meal. after about ten minutes the fawns screams finally stopped. noli was happy to basically have a free meal right at her paws.

emerging from the bush about thirty minutes after killing the helpess fawn she gave a look around. sitting down on her haunches she glanced around, staring at everything around her. her muzzle was a dark red, from the blood of the fawn. licking her muzzle she slowly lowered herself to the ground and rested her head on the dirt once more. with her belly now plump and the darkness finally settling in she decided she might as well spend the night in this area, seeing how she had no home to go too. most would consider her to be an outsider, and she was but she would like to have a family and just the protection of others.

A solitary figure bounded through the undergrowth without a care of how much noise she was making or what she disturbed. Her orbs shone brightly as she shook her head in play. She just had to much energy.

A sound caused her to pause in mid bound and she fell painfully, twisting her for right pillar. She winced but immediately forgot about it as she could still hear the noise. Wishing she had paid more attention to her dam she listened intently, trying to guess what it was. Then she mentally kicked herself. Wouldn't it be easier to use her sense of smell? Closing her eyes she raised her snout to the air and focused all her attention on the scent that was brought to them. It smelt like fear and, and, and deer. Now she felt pleased with herself and once more she went bounding forewords not thinking about why the deer scent was full of dear.

The pain in her stilt caused her to stop again and once more she winced.Bending her crown down she went to investigate it. It looked fine to her but still hurt loads. Maybe she should just rest it for now.

Looking around her she quickly began to feel bored and not only that. A deep feeling of longing mixed with loneliness almost made a pain to rival that of her leg. It had been to long since she had been in the company of another wolf and it was killing her. She had really enjoyed the pack life but they had kicked her out because she was too energetic. She hated that but couldn't change it. It was who she was and unfortunately not many liked it. She was just to tiring for most.

She began to sway wondering what she was going to do now. Staying in one place for more than thirty seconds was hard for. Gingerly she started to move of again, trying to ignore the pain and trying not to let it hold her back. Already she had forgotten the deer and as usual she made more noise than necessary. Creatures for miles around could probably hear her but she didn't care.

Without knowing it she went in the same direction that the doe had went and in doing so would soon come across the other wolf and the remains of the fawn.
